Collaborations

There are many opportunities for collagists to collaborate on projects with others. On this page are some (International) projects in which I participate.

Dutch Collagists Travelling Book

The Dutch Collagists Travelling book is an initiative by Ro-Nalt Schrauwen. He made the first collage in the book in 2017 and it  has been travelling through the Netherlands since then. The book offers space for 23 collage-makers to add their contributions. Eventually, it will return to Ro-Nalt. First, the participating collagist starts to work with a piece left by their predecessor and uses it to create a new collage on the left page of the book. Then, on the right page, they make a second collage and leave a clipping for the next participant.

Viennese collage maker Geronimo Finn initiated this project which uses old Austrian passports, savings bank books and membership books.

Each participating collagist adds their work on two pages of a booklet. When the two pages are completed, they forward it to the next project participant and publish a photo of the contribution in the corresponding Facebook group. Finally, the booklet - filled with many collages - returns to Geronimo in Vienna, who wants to use the booklets for a new project.

Play with Shapes Challenge

Anja Brunt was again the initiator for an open call via Instagram in 2022: Play with Shapes Challenge. This time my entry won a prize.

All entries appear in a fun animation…

Graphic designer Anja Brunt initiated this project, an open call to the collage community in autumn 2021. There was a good response to her call to turn glasses into a 3D collage project. The result is published in an e-book including all contributions. You can download the book.
